Bonjour,

I am Guillaume, a French Chef. I have been a Chef for over 15 years and have a deep passion for food and wine.

Born and raised in France, with French, Spanish and Italian roots, my heritage has seen me become nourished by a kitchen rich in taste and colours and emotions. My culture and family has instilled in me the values of sharing, friendship, honesty and respect, while fostering a love of food.

My interest in food started at a young age back in Marnac, France, around my two grandmothers Sylvia and Lucie, two great Chefs. They gave me their value and love of good food.

They were able to make sumptuous dishes with almost nothing to feed the whole family.

True magicians in the kitchen! Their houses were always filled with different flavors - something was always simmering in the corner ... Thus, I have wonderful memories of family meals, particularly Christmas Dinners - The best dinner ever in my life at this stage.

For my family, cooking is the opportunity to gather everyone and share unforgettable moments.

After running my restaurant in France for a number of years, I decided to simply close it, go in New Zealand, which had long been a dream of mine and start afresh. After a long and intense 2 years, I finally got my residency and open the first of my 2 cafes. After 4 successful years I decided , again, to restart something else from the scratch, but this time, I am coming to you !

It is in the respect of my family and their heritage that today I continue to appreciate every minute spent in the kitchen, always giving the best of myself and enjoying all the little things in life, which are for me the most important
